Video games have taken a huge leap onto the screen, and we’re celebrating the genre with a closer look at over 50 video game adaptations in movies and shows. Clive Standen will reprise his voice role as Demetrius Titus, the title character in the video game Space Marine 2. The episode takes place after the events of the game. you’ll be left wanting more.
Indeed, this one delivered
For me at least, I was amazed by some of the worlds they managed to recreate beautifully here, while also telling a great story about them. Coming from the creator of Love Death + Robots, you can expect high quality. Most of the episodes have excellent pacing, pacing, writing, cinematography, direction, as well as interesting themes about humanity, friendship, etc. My highlights were the episodes: Episode 8 – Armored Core: Asset Management. Besides being an Armored Core fan, I was amazed at how they managed to perfectly capture the feel of this universe, the high stakes of each battle the ACs have and the pilots’ -in some cases- struggle to live in this world knowing what they are.
Finally episode 1 – Dungeons & Dragons: Queen’s Cradle
Also, episode 3 – The New World: The Once and Future King. Great performance from Arnold, great comedy, incredible pacing and a comforting message at the end about what’s really important. This episode is a mix of feelings and the way they manage to say it in such a short time is something to be commended. Also, lots of references to how we players feel when we start a new adventure in an aRPG: preparation, low level, grinding, etc. AMAZING.
Great characters and dialogue
Epic fantasy. Again, the pacing and direction are on point. The world moves forward, ending with a great climax and… you’re left wanting more. And then it just ends.

I’m a gamer, so of course I had fun the whole time, but I’m also looking for a good story and this had it all. If you like anthologies like Black Mirror and happen to be a gamer, then this could be one of the best things to watch right now.
